Capital Project Grant Program

A Boost for Small Businesses

The 2018 application process for Small Business Capital Project Grants is now closed. Funds will be available again in 2019.

The program is designed to help small businesses with reimbursement of 10% of eligible capital project expenses up to $50,000, with a maximum grant award of $5,000. Last year, the City’s Economic Development Department updated this popular grant program to include not only existing businesses, but new businesses as well. New businesses that have been in business 12 months or less are required to submit a business plan for consideration of grant requests.

Applications that were submitted by the July 1 deadline will be eligible for 2018 funding. Consideration will be given for projects already completed in the first part of the year, or planned for completion by November 30, 2018.
