The Orchard refers to a section of north Westminster that is home to the Orchard Town Center and other surrounding retail centers, as well as the St. Anthony North Medical Campus. Just to the south of the medical campus is 250 acres of prime I-25 frontage that is zoned for office and commercial uses. The Orchard is located in the booming northern Denver metro area that has seen a large population growth, and expects to see more with the addition of an Amazon distribution center in nearby Thornton.
Located on I-25 at the 144th Avenue exit, the Orchard area enjoys quick access to I-25, as well as the Northwest Parkway and E-470, making the trip to Denver International Airport that much faster. The City of Westminster has also partnered with nearby St. Anthony North Health Campus to launch a bike-share program, with a station located on the medical campus.
The Orchard Town Center is an open-air retail and entertainment district conveniently located on the northwest corner of I-25 and 144th Avenue in Westminster. The center features 1,000,000 sf of retail space and 300 apartment units. Macy’s, JC Penney, REI and Super Target anchor the retail. The Orchard Town Center offers guests a charming Town Square with tree-lined pathways leading to specialty shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. The Orchard Town Center has become the shopping, dining and entertainment destination for the northern Denver metro area.
Just to the south of the Orchard Town Center, the St. Anthony North Medical Campus sits on 35 acres at I-25 & 144th Avenue, and adjoins St. Anthony’s medical pavilion already at the site. The campus itself includes a 350,000 square foot hospital expansion that incorporates health and wellness services for local communities with 60,000 square feet of integrated physician clinics for both primary and specialty care, and features:
