Kimmie (she/her) has worked for the City of Westminster since 2021 and joined Economic Development in 2024. Her primary focus is supporting the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds with a focus on affordable housing programs and the 73rd and Lowell Open Air Event Space in Historic Westminster. She does this through various community investment strategies, including outreach, committee work, and allocating funding streams. Kimmie also works collaboratively with regional partners in finding opportunities for Westminster residents through engaging projects that directly benefit the low-to-moderate areas within the City.

Kimmie holds a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Denver where she graduated Beta Phi Mu and a bachelor’s degree in English with a Writing concentration from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She previously worked in Libraries and Archives where she focused on community engagement, event planning, preservation, chairing national and statewide award committees, and management.
