Dear Westminster Business Community,
Our Economic Development team is looking ahead toward economic recovery efforts, and are focused on providing you with resources and programs to that end. We are “open” (working remotely) and here to serve you.
On Wednesday, May 27 an Emergency Directive was put in place to modify certain sections of the Westminster Municipal Code (WMC) to temporarily allow restaurants and bars to expand into designated outdoor areas adjacent to their businesses, in order to promote social distancing and public health measures related to COVID-19.
Please click the link below to complete an application to expand your service area.
In addition, the order temporarily modifies WMC provisions related to changing, altering or modifying licensed liquor service premise areas subject to State Liquor Enforcement Division requirements.
Please see links to more resources below.
We have gathered tools and resources to help make your reopening process smoother and with less questions. Please review all of the resources below, including the Business Checklist, Best Practices for ALL Businesses, Best Practices for Worksites, Employees, and Customers, as well as FAQs.
No business should reopen before safety measures are in place. Facial coverings and remote work are strongly encouraged. Businesses need to take the appropriate steps to prevent further spread. For more information, please visit the public health websites for your specific counties:
