  • Leading Edge for Entrepreneurs (Virtual Series)

    LEADING EDGE is for business owners and future business owners who desire focused education, accountability, networking, and the tools to build a strategic business plan.

    What To Expect:

    • Nine 3-hour class sessions, including interactive group work, guest speakers, and discussions with subject matter experts
    • Confidential one-on-one consulting with certified SBDC consultants
    • Direct connections with local and statewide lenders, key business leaders, and industry experts
    • Continuous feedback on your business plan and strategy during the course, including a personalized review at the course conclusion
    • Graduate with a completed business plan, multiple mentors, and a key network of resources, champions, and friends!

    When: Tuesdays beginning April 23, 2024 through June 18, 2024 | 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

    Length: 9 Weeks

    This comprehensive Business Startup Orientation has been designed as a starting place for anyone who is considering jumping into business for the first or seventh time. This seminar will provide you with a general overview of things to consider when starting a business. You will receive resources including the Colorado Business Resource Book (the essential guide to starting a business).

    During this workshop, you’ll learn about: legal entities pros and cons, steps to make your business legal in the state of Colorado, business licensing requirements, business taxation responsibilities, marketing essentials steps, the business plan components, and where to obtain additional free resources and support.
