The City of Westminster has partnered with local supportive housing non-profit, Almost Home, to provide rent and mortgage payment assistance for city residents who have fallen behind on housing payments due to a Covid-19 pandemic related income loss.

Qualified residents may be able to access up to $4,800 in rent or mortgage payment assistance if they have a work-out agreement with a landlord or mortgager, and commit to three months of budget stabilization counseling with Almost Home staff.

The program was established to prevent Westminster homeowners and families from experiencing displacement through eviction or foreclosure.  It is funded through a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) emergency response grant.
