In partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Mako Medical, the city opened a COVID-19 testing site that is free to the public.

The testing site is located in Westminster Promenade’s Fat Cats parking lot at 10685 Westminster Blvd. The site is testing every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The city receives support from Jefferson County for the testing site in a gesture of regional collaboration.

While walk-ins are welcome, pre-registration is highly encouraged to reduce wait time.

Here are the steps to pre-register:

  1. Visit Mako Medical’s website.
  2. Complete the registration form.
  3. Upon completing the form, you will receive an email with a booking ID number. Show this number to the site attendant when you arrive.

All Coloradans who need or want to get a COVID-19 test should go to a community testing site, like this one, which are located throughout the state. There are numerous state-sponsored community testing sites and dozens of locations offered by private providers. They are free, convenient, and do not require a doctor’s note, identification or insurance.

Please isolate if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. If you know or think you have been exposed, but do not yet know if you’re infected, please get tested.

The state will continue to work with local partners to meet community testing needs in a manner that best serves Colorado residents.

While testing is an important tool in the COVID-19 response, a negative test doesn’t mean it’s okay to meet in large gatherings or bypass other public health orders, like wearing a mask. All Coloradans need to mask up, physically distance, interact only with members of their own households and stay home while sick.
