Sustainable Brewery Initiative
Colorado is home to around 350 craft breweries that use energy in brewing and refrigeration, water in brewing and packaging, and that generate wastes like spent grains and high-strength wastewater. Last year department advisors visited craft breweries to look for sustainability opportunities. They looked to increase energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction.
