On April 12, U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen joined Mayor McNally, City Manager Freitag, and staff to tour Downtown Westminster and the U.S. 36 underpass project. The Colorado Congresswoman discussed the importance of investing in large-scale projects to prepare Colorado communities for the future. Rep Pettersen shared the following: “I love seeing places like this because it’s an example of what’s possible with the right leadership and the right priorities for communities, and what we can achieve together when we invest in the right things. I think this is a great example of adjusting to changing times and introducing innovative ways for local and federal investments to bring transit, affordable housing, and businesses to a thriving community.”
